iRamshalaka app for iPhone and iPad

This app is an interactive adaptation of Ramshalaka in Rāmcharitmānas. Ramshalaka or Prashnavali is composed of nine verses (chaupais) from various parts of Ramcharitmanas. Each of the 9 verse is broken into 25 pieces to make 225 pieces altogether. The 25 pieces from each verse are interleaved to display in a 15x15 grid. This grid is followed by the interpretation of each verse, some positive and others not so positive. To get the guidance from the Almighty, the devotee thinks of a question and then randomly picks one of the piece. Using this piece, s/he creates the verse by picking all the ninth pieces forward as well backward. Finally s/he looks up the interpretation to get the answer.

Our app does the same but removes the tedious part of assembling the chaupai and looking for the verses interpretation. We start with the same Ramshalaka in 15X15 grid hiding under OM. You pick one piece on the grid by touching anywhere on OM screen. We do the rest by collecting all of the pieces associated with the touch point to complete the chaupai and bring you the answer.
